While Leylah Fernandez was a 1/5 favourite heading into her first round match against Moyuka Uchijima, things did not go as planned.

Sun Finally Wins a Match
Following a season to remember in 2024, Lulu Sun would have been looking forward to 2025 with bated breath but things haven’t quite gone her way. So far that it.
Coming into her opening round encounter here against Caroline Garcia, Sun had featured in four tournaments and lost in the first round at each of them.
