What Has Tsitsipas Done So Far This Season?
Tsitsipas had made a very slow start to the 2025 season as he fell to four defeats from his first seven matches which included a first round loss at the hands of Alex Michelsen at the Australian Open.
He finally looked to have come into his own when Tsitsipas won his first title of the season at the ATP Dubai. defeating Matteo Berrettini, Karen Khachanov and Felix Auger-Aliassime on his way.
A fourth round appearance at the Indian Wells Masters followed before he was bundled out in the third round at the Miami Masters by Sebastian Korda.
Tsitsipas then lost to Lorenzo Musetti in the quarterfinals of the Monte-Carlo Masters. He retired from his Barcelona Open quarterfinal against Arthur Fils.
What Has Tsitsipas Done in His Career?
Tsitsipas won his maiden ATP level title at the Stockholm Open of 2018 and since then he has gone on to add a further 11 more ATP tournament wins to his name.
His best performance came at the 2019 ATP Finals in which Tsitsipas defeated Dominic Thiem in the final to lift the trophy. Tsitsipas has also won the Monte-Carlo Masters title of 2021 and 2022 and added a third in 2024 of that very competition.
The Greek number one has also made the final at the 2021 French Open and 2023 Australian Open, losing to Novak Djokovic on both occasions.
