She would have liked to do a lot better than her fourth round exit at the Australian Open but it did come at the hands of the eventual winner Madison Keys.

Lamens Shocks Bouzkova
On her debut at the Indian Wells Open, Suzan Lamens brought about her fighting game and carved out one of the upsets of the day.
Lamens, who was a 7/5 underdog going into her opener against Marie Bouzkova, looked to be in trouble when she was broken early and lost the first set.
And while she came back to win the second, Lamens was in a spot of bother yet again when she fell 0-2 down in the decider.
From that point onward, however, Lamens bagged back to back breaks of serve and added a third one for the set to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 and win the first match of her career at this tournament.
