Carlos Alcaraz v Jack Draper Head to Head
They have played each other four times and Alcaraz leads 3-1 on head to head.
Alcaraz had won in Basel 2022 and Indian Wells 2023 before Draper came back to clinch their tie at the Queen’s competition in 2024. They then faced off at the Australian Open earlier this year where Draper was forced to retire with a hip injury.

Because that’s how good Alcaraz has been in Indian Wells, having not lost a match here since his semifinal defeat at the hands of Rafael Nadal in 2022.
And while Cerundolo did put up a fight, it proved to be to no avail as Alcaraz registered his 16th successive win in this tournament. It was also his 15th win of the season to go with two defeats with Alcaraz having won the Rotterdam Open as his only title for the season so far.
He had earlier overcome Quentin Halys, Denis Shapovalov and Grigor Dimitrov in the previous three rounds.

Draper Continues His Excellent Run with Shelton Win
In what was his 11th win of the season to go with just two defeats, Jack Draper eased to a straight-set result against Ben Shelton. In doing so Draper made it to the semifinal of a Masters 1000 event for the first time in his career.
With previous quarterfinal appearances at the Canadian Open and Cincinnati Masters, Draper went one better this time with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over the local player and Australian Open semifinal Shelton.
Draper needed an hour and 41 minutes and faced just one break-point – in which he was broken – to grab his place in the semifinals.
This win follows victories over Joao Fonseca, Jenson Brooksby and Taylor Fritz for Draper, all of which came in straight sets. And he now has a chance to stall Alcaraz’s run at the Indian Wells Masters.
