The 2025 Miami Open continues on Wednesday, March 19 as the remaining first round matches on the women’s side of things and the first set of men’s singles opening round matches will be held today. Below is the Miami Open order of play for the day.
Emma Raducanu will take to centre court as she looks to shrug off her losing streak when she takes on Japan’s Sayaka Ishii. This will be followed by two men’s singles matches with Gael Monfils taking on Fabian Marozsan and Mackenzie McDonald playing Australia’s Nick Kyrgios.
The evening session will see Victoria Azarenka taking on Anhelina Kalinina and Quentin Halys playing Thiago Seyboth Wild.
Over at the Grandstand, Sebastian Baez will hope to put a lot more pressure on Alexander Bublik who is struggling for form. McCartney Kessler then faces Marie Bouzkova while Britain’s Katie Boulter takes on local player Peyton Stearns.
Dayana Yastremska will have a tough one against the in-form Belinda Bencic after that before the day ends with a match between Eliot Spizziri and Billy Harris.
Over at Butch Buchholz, Veronika Kudermetova takes on Xinyu Wang, wildcard entrant and Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic faces American qualifier Bernarda Pera and Alexandra Eala faces local player Katie Volynets.
Aleksandar Kovacevic takes on Miomir Kecmanovic and Arthur Rinderknech plays Jaume Munar in the last two matches on that court.
Some of the other players taking court from the women’s draw include Anna Blinkova, Elina Avanesyan, Anastasia Potapova and Caroline Garcia while the men’s section has David Goffin, Rinky Hijikata, Alexandre Muller and Mattia Bellucci.
