The 2025 Miami Open continues on Saturday, March 22 with the women’s third round action and the remaining men’s second round matches to be played today.
First up at Stadium Court will be Alexander Zverev who will take on Britain’s Jacob Fearnley for a place in the third round. Zverev has struggled to get going since his Australian Open final appearance but with Carlos Alcaraz out, this could be a great chance for him to go all the way.
This will be followed by the top women’s seed Aryna Sabalenka featuring in her third round match as she faces Elena-Gabriela Ruse before Coco Gauff faces Maria Sakkari. While Gauff earned a double-bagel against Sofia Kenin, Sakkari’s entry into the third round will get her some relief given her poor form this season.
Americans Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Townsend will be in action for their respective matches in the evening session as they take on Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Qinwen Zheng.
Over at Grandstand, Jasmine Paolini takes on Ons Jabeur while the third seeded Taylor Fritz will be up against Lorenzo Sonego. Indian Wells Masters winner Jack Draper will also be in action when he faces Jakub Mensik while Ugo Humbert faces Next Gen player Joao Fonseca.
Danielle Collins will be the last player to take to this court.
Some of the others who will also be in action today include Naomi Osaka, Magda Linette, Andrey Rublev, Alex de Minaur and Holger Rune.
