Three of the first round matches at the 2025 WTA Stuttgart Open will be played on Monday, April 14 with Clara Tauson, Diana Shnaider and Elise Mertens taking to court on the day. Here’s the day’s schedule for this day of the WTA Stuttgart Open.
Centre court action begins in the evening with a first round match between Clara Tauson and Anastasia Potapova. They would have hoped for a later meeting in a tournament given the quality they have been exuding but that’s the nature of the draw at times.
This will be followed by an all-Russian battle between Diana Shnaider and Veronika Kudermetova in what will be the second match of the evening at Centre court.
Over at court 1, Jelena Ostapenko and Dayana Yastremska will combine to feature in their opening doubles match before Elise Mertens takes on Aliaksandra Sasnovich for a place in round two.
