The first round at the 2025 WTA Stuttgart Open winds down while a few of the second round matches will be in action on Wednesday, April 16. Iga Swiatek, Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider will be among those in action today . Here’s the day’s schedule for this day of the WTA Stuttgart Open.
First up in action will be a match quite a few would have been hoping for as the Andreeva sisters, Mirra and Erika go head to head in the first round.
This will be followed by Magdalena Frech facing the former top-5 player Sara Errani for a place in the second round before Iga Swiatek, seeded and ranked two, takes to court. Swiatek had a first round bye and will face Jana Fett in her second round encounter.
Germans Tatjana Maria and Ella Seidel will face off in another first round match before Diana Shnaider plays Elise Mertens for a place in the last eight.
Four of the doubles first round matches and one quarterfinal will also be held today, over at court 1.
