Get all the free ATP Vienna Open betting tips, predictions and picks along with their latest odds for the 2025 edition of the tournament, a men’s indoor hardcourt competition played in the lead-up to the final Masters competition later in the month.

Vienna Open is a men’s tournament that was started 50 years ago, making it one of the oldest tournaments in Europe outside of the Grand Slams.

Currently it is played as an ATP 500 competition having got that status for the first time in 1996. Between 2009 and 2014 it was switched back to ATP 250 before the ATP announced that was being reverted back to ATP 500 in 2015.

Till 1999, the Vienna Open was one of the few tournaments played on carpet but from 2000 onward as the world of tennis began to get rid of this surface, it moved indoors on hardcourt.

Players like Ivan Lendl, Goran Ivanesevic, Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner have all won this trophy in the past.

What Happened in the 2024 Edition of the ATP Vienna Open?

In the absence of the defending champion Jannik Sinner, it was Great Britain’s Jack Draper who surprised the pack to go on to win the title.

Draper defeated Karen Khachanov 6-4, 7-5 to make it his second tournament victory at this level having also won the Stuttgart Open earlier in the year.

The US Open semifinalist, who started out as the seventh seed in this competition this year, overcame Kei Nishikori in the opening round before routing Luciano Darderi in the second. He was taken to a third set by Tomas Machac in the last eight before easing past Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinals.

Top seeded Alexander Zverev made the quarterfinals where his campaign was ended by Musetti while the second seeded Alex de Minaur made the semifinals before losing to Karen Khachanov.

What Happened in the 2023 Edition of the ATP Vienna Open?

In a final between the top seeds of the competition, second Jannik Sinner overcame Daniil Medvedev to lift the trophy in 2023. In a match that tested both players equally before Sinner squeaked past his Russian opponent, he saved set-points in the opening set before winning 7-6 (7), 4-6, 6-3.

Sinner did not face too much opposition in the previous rounds though as he showed his class in getting past the likes of Ben Shelton, Lorenzo Sonego, Frances Tiafoe and Andrey Rublev in the previous rounds before clinching the tournament win.

In the semis, Sinner overcame Rublev while Medvedev defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas to set up the title-decider round.

Seven of the eight seeds made the quarterfinal with the sixth seeded Tommy Paul losing to Borna Gojo in the second round.
