Get all the free WTA Rouen Open betting tips, predictions and picks along with their latest odds for the 2025 edition of the tournament which will be held in the third week of April this year.
This is the newest tournament on the WTA Tour this season having earlier been played as a WTA 125 event over couple of years before its first edition in 2024.
The Rouen Open or as it’s also called in French, Open de Rouen (pronounced as roo-awn), will now be played as a WTA 250 competition for the first time in its short history.
What’s fascinating about this event is that it will be played on indoor clay courts, after it was featured as an indoor hardcourt tournament for the first two years as a WTA 125 competition.

Open de Rouen 2025 Tournament Preview
We will preview the 2025 Rouen Open before the start of the competition. For now, here’s how things looked in the lead-up to the 2024 Rouen Open.
Played for the first time as a WTA 250 event, the Rouen Open will see Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova start off as the top seed. The favourite, however, is teenaged player Mirra Andreeva, who starts off as the fifth seed and has a rather tricky opening round encounter against clay-court specialist Nadia Podoroska.
Also joining the top seeds in the tournament is Naomi Osaka, who has a wildcard for this event and faces Martina Trevisan first up. This won’t be a straightforward one for Osaka, who till Saturday was playing in the Billie Jean King Cup for Japan.
Interestingly, she starts off a second favourite in pre-tournament odds, just behind Andreeva’s 11/2 at 6/1.

What Happened in the 2024 Edition of the Rouen Open?
Sloane Stephens, a former French Open finalist, clinched another title at this level when she defeated Magda Linette in the final. She won 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 to grab the win.
This was following Stephens’ wins over Peyton Stearns in the first round, Karolina Pliskova in the second and Yuan Yue in the quarterfinals before she sent the second seeded Caroline Garcia packing in the semifinal in straight sets.
Linette, who was an unseeded player overcame the third seeded Anhelina Kalinina in the semis while the top seeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova was ousted in the second round by Arantxa Rus.
What Happened in the 2023 Edition of the Rouen Open?
The 2023 edition of the Rouen Open was the second time it was held as a WTA 125 tournament. Viktorija Golubic, who joined the list of seeded players as the ninth seed following the withdrawal of Kateryna Bondl, went on to win the title by crushing Erika Andreeva in the final.
Golubic lost the first set she played in the tournament, in the first round against Elsa Jacquemot but from that point onward there was no looking back for the Swiss player.
She grabbed the next two sets in that match and then went on drop just 21 more games in total in the next four matches including a 6-4, 6-1 win over Andreeva in the title-decider.
