ATP Belgrade Open Betting Tips, Picks, Predictions & Odds

Get all the free ATP Belgrade Open betting tips, predictions and picks along with their latest odds for the 2024 edition of the tournament, a men’s indoor hardcourt competition played in the lead-up to the final Masters competition later in the month.

The Belgrade Open wasn’t supposed to be hosted in 2024 but some operational difficulties for Gijon Open has paved the way for the Serbian city to take over those duties for 2024 and 2025. At the very least.

Belgrade has previously hosted clay court competitions having been on the ATP calendar in 2021 and 2022. Back then the tournament played in Belgrade, called the Serbia Open, was played on clay and in the month of April in the lead-up to the French Open.

This time around, the Belgrade Open, now in its third edition after missing out on hosting rights in 2023, will host an indoor hardcourt event instead.

However, this isn’t the first time that Belgrade has been involved in hardcourt competitions having also done that in Davis Cup. Here’s what the tournament director Djordje Djokovic had to say about getting these hosting rights:

“We are grateful that we got a chance to organise yet another ATP 250 tournament, this time on a hard-court surface. Belgrade has a successful history in hard-court tournaments, as some of the most exciting Davis Cup matches and finals were played here many years ago. We are excited to continue with this tradition and try to make everything even more exciting and better, this time with an ATP tournament.”

What Happened in the 2023 Edition of the ATP Belgrade Open?

While the Belgrade Open wasn’t held in 2023, it was Andrey Rublev who clinched the title here in 2022 by defeating the pre-tournament and crowd favourite and the local lad, Novak Djokovic in the final.

Rublev clinched the encounter 6-2, 6-7 (4), 6-0 in a rare match in which Djokovic got bagelled in a set – the last time he was at the receiving end of a 6-0 loss in a set (as on August 2024).

The Russian had made it to the final with wins over Jiri Lehecka, Taro Daniel and Fabio Fognini in the earlier rounds.
