Taylor Fritz v Arthur Rinderknech Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between these two players and Fritz has won them both. They faced off at the 2023 French Open and the 2024 Wimbledon.
Fritz Coming off Third Round at Australian Open
After losing his very first match at the United Cup – which was also his first of the season – Taylor Fritz went on a bit of a roll and together with Cori Gauff helped USA clinch the title there.
And Fritz looked to be in wonderful form when he dropped a mere eight games spread across six sets in the first two rounds of the Australian Open as well.
Unfortunately for him, Gael Monfils pulled off a sterling performance in their third round encounter, clinching a comeback from behind win over Fritz.
It would have been a darn disappointing result for Fritz who was coming off a final at the 2024 US Open. He will now look to get back to his winning ways as he takes to court for his first round match in a tournament he hadn’t played last year.

Rinderknech Struggling for Rhythm
Arthur Rinderknech has featured in four tournaments so far this season and has won just one match. That came in the Montpellier Open last week in which he took on Harold Mayot, a player ranked 138th in the world and still managed to only scrape through to a three-set win.
He would get knocked out in the second round by the out of sorts Nikoloz Basilashvili, and in straight sets at that.
Before that, Rinderknech had had other such losses. He lost to Yoshihito Nishioka in the first round of the Brisbane International, went down to Christopher O’Connell at Adelaide and while he put up a fight against Frances Tiafoe at the Australian Open he lost that in five too.
And now taking on the world number four, it would take too much for Rinderknech to come close to surprising his opponent.
Fritz v Rinderknech Prediction
Fritz is 1/10 to win this and 2/5 to do that in straight sets and there’s no problem there for us to go with that. We might see one set filled with fight at the best but that wouldn’t be enough to stop Fritz.
Fritz v Rinderknech Tips
- Fritz to win in straight sets: 2/5
- Under 23.5 games in the match: 1/2
