Iga Swiatek v Dayana Yastremska Head to Head

There was a minor hiccup that Swiatek faced early in the second set when she was broken as she served for a 3-0 lead but she was back at it and finished it off soon after that.

Yastremska Shocks Potapova
Anastasia Potapova had gone into her second round against Dayana Yastremska as an 11/20 favourite but came woefully short of testing her opponent.
In a match lasting an hour and 19 minutes, Yastremska defeated 6-2, 6-3 as she took advantage of Potapova’s poor serving which led to 13 break-points against her serve.
Yastremska broke her four times and while she dropped her serve once too, it was never going to be enough to overcome her.
This followed a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Magda Linette in the opening round and with Yastremska having already made the final at one of the WTA competitions – in Linz – she will enter this one with some confidence.
The problem, however, is no amount of confidence helps players when they are up against Swiatek when she is in this kind of form.
