Jiri Lehecka v Fabian Marozsan Head to Head
Their only previous meeting came in the 2023 Rome Masters where Marozsan had edged ahead of Lehecka in three tight sets.
Lehecka Eases Past Dimitrov
Jiri Lehecka did not have too many worries on his plate when he cruised to a straight-set win over Grigor Dimitrov in the first round here.
Playing in his first match since retiring from the Australian Open from an injury a little over a month ago, Dimitrov lasted an hour and 16 minutes before Lehecka won 6-4, 6-4 to move into round two.
This marked Lehecka’s fourth win over Dimitrov in five matches and improved his season win-loss record to 11-2 following his title win in Brisbane.
Lehecka had also made the fourth round of the Australian Open before Novak Djokovic got the better of him.
Interestingly, Lehecka himself was coming into the match on the back of an injury concern because of which he had retired from his second round match in Rotterdam.

Marozsan Goes Past Dougaz
Having made the quarterfinal in Hong Kong and then appeared in the third round of the Australian Open, Fabian Marozsan added another win to his 2025 tally as he cruised to a straight-set result over Aziz Dougaz.
In a match lasting an hour and 29 minutes, Marozsan clinched a 7-5, 6-3 win to make the second round.
While Marozsan did not have any serving yips – he saved the only break-point he faced in the entire match – he sure did have a problem breaking his opponent’s serve.
Marozsan received a whopping 13 break-points in the match and managed to break his opponent a mere two times. On another day that record would have read quite differently.
And he will need to be that much more clinical now that he faces a player ranked in the top 30.
Lehecka v Marozsan Prediction
Lehecka has a good chance here to avenge their last meeting’s defeat and given that he looks to have recovered from his own fitness concerns, it looks highly likely that he can go on to win this.
Lehecka v Marozsan Tips
- Lehecka to win in straight sets: 5/6
