Jack Draper v Jiri Lehecka Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between these two players with Leheka winning the 2024 Adelaide International title by defeated Draper in their first match while the Brit making it 1-1 in Paris.
Lehecka in a Comeback Win over Alcaraz
In what turned out to be a stunning comeback, Jiri Lehecka defeated Carlos Alcaraz in a quarterfinal match in which he trailed 2-4 in the final set to the world number two.
Coming into the match with straight-set wins over Grigor Dimitrov and Fabian Marozsan in the first two rounds, Lehecka knew he was always going to be up against it when he took to court to face the defending French Open and Wimbledon champion.
That he won the first set after being broken first was both, a testimony to his excellent form all season and the fact that he would be no pushover for Alcaraz.
The Spaniard retaliated with a solitary break in the second set to level things off and when he broke again to go 4-2 up in the third, the writing was on the wall.
Lehecka, who had earlier won the Brisbane International and then made the fourth round at the Australian Open, came back with back to back breaks of serves in a shocking display of tennis to claim his semifinal spot.

Draper Edges Berrettini in Thriller
British number one Jack Draper registered his sixth win of the season despite losing the first set to Matteo Berrettini, edging out the Italian player in three sets to enter the last four stage.
Berrettini looked to have continued from where he had left off against Novak Djokovic whom he had defeated in the first round when he grabbed the only set but Draper came back to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
Draper, who needed two hours and 22 minutes to clinch the victory, later admitted he had worked harder on his fitness and together with the match time that he has got this week, has gone a long way in strengthening his chances here.
This followed straight-set wins for Draper in the first two rounds in which he had overcome Alexei Popyrin and Christopher O’Connell.
Earlier in the season, Draper had played just one tournament – Australian Open – where he made the fourth round but had to retire from that encounter because of a hip injury.
Draper v Lehecka Prediction
Draper starts a 4/6 favourite here and while we also think he holds a slight edge, a best-of-three between these two players could get too close to close. Instead we feel the games market could be a better option.
Draper v Lehecka Tips
- Over 20.5 games in the match: 4/9
- Three sets in the match: 6/5
