Daily Eastbourne International betting tips and predictions

Get all the free ATP Atlanta Open betting tips, predictions and picks along with their latest odds for the 2024 edition of the tournament, a men’s hardcourt competition played as one of the early tune-up ones to the US Open.

The Atlanta Open is the first tournament of the season that is played as a part of the US Open Series of tournaments. It is hosted on hardcourt surfaces to signal the start of the US Open swing or the hardcourt series of competitions.

First held in Indianapolis in 1988, it was shifted to its current city in 2010 following a string of poor years as far as revenue is concerned.

Mardy Fish was the first winner of this competition and players from the USA won it in each of the first six years since inception. It was only in 2016 that Nick Kyrgios defeated John Isner in the final to break that monotony.

It has been played as a part of the ATP 250 series each year other than 2020 when it was abandoned because of the pandemic. Among its winners are Isner, Kyrgios, Andy Roddick and Alex de Minaur.

What Happened in the 2023 Edition of the ATP Atlanta Open?

Top seeded Taylor Fritz lived up to his top billing by going on to clinch the title after defeating Aleksandar Vukic in the final. In a fighting finale, Fritz overcame Vukic 7-5, 6-7 (5), 6-4 to lift the trophy.

Fritz, who had come into the tournament on the back of five career ATP titles, had a first round bye and did not spend too much time on court before the finale.

Following a first round bye, he overcame a fighting performance from Wu Yibing in the second round, crushed Kei Nishikori in the quarterfinals before easing past the eighth seeded JJ Wolf in the semifinals. Vukic shocked three seeded players on his way to the final.

Defending champion Alex de Minaur tamed fellow Aussie Thanasi Kokkinakis in his first match before losing to the seventh seeded Ugo Humbert in the very next round.
