Get all the free ATP Auckland Open betting tips, predictions and picks along with their latest odds for the 2026 edition of the tournament which will be held in the second week of the calendar year.
Played in the week between the WTA Auckland Open and the Australian Open, the ATP Auckland Open is a men’s ATP 250 competition that has been around since 1956.
Other than the two years in 2021 and 2022 when the pandemic was raging all around the world, the men’s Auckland Open has been played over all those years since inception.
In more recent times, not too many of the top 10 players have featured in this tournament because of its close proximity to the start of the Australian Open. Over the years, however, the likes of David Ferrer, Juan Martin del Potro, John Isner and Roberto Bautista Agut have all won titles here.
Rafael Nadal was the runner-up in the 2004 edition of this competition.

What Happened in the 2025 Edition of the ATP Auckland Open?
Gael Monfils became the oldest men’s singles champion on the ATP Tour when he clinched this title by overcoming Zizou Bergs 6-3, 6-4 in the final.
Following a defeat to Novak Djokovic in the second round of the Brisbane International the previous week, Monfils needed three sets to overcome Pedro Martinez in the first round here to make it through.
From that point onward, however, Monfils took control and overcame Jan-Lennard Struff, Facundo Diaz Acosta and Nishesh Basavareddy in the following three rounds in straight sets to make it to the final.
Monfils was joined by Bergs who had a relatively straightforward draw before defeating Nuno Borges in the semifinals.
What Happened in the 2024 Edition of the ATP Auckland Open?
In what turned out to be a surprise result, Chilean qualifier Alejandro Tabilo won his maiden ATP title when he defeated another surprise finalist Taro Daniel 6-, 7-5 in the title-decider.
The all-unseeded finalists had overcome seeded players in their respective semifinal victories with Daniel stunning the top seeded Ben Shelton while Tabilo overcoming Arthur Fils, the sixth seed.
In winning the tournament as a qualifier, Tabilo became the first to do so at the ATP level since Juan Manuel Cerúndolo defeated Albert Ramos Vinolas in the final of the Cordoba Open in 2021.
Tabilo would go on to win the 2024 Mallorca Open as well.
