What Happened in the 2023 Edition of the ATP Swiss Indoors?

Felix Auger-Aliassime, who had come into this competition as the defending champion, managed to make it two titles in a row by defeating the fourth seeded Hubert Hurkacz in the final.

Seeded sixth in the 2023 edition of the Swiss Indoors, having taken a wildcard to make it to the main draw, the Canadian player needed two tie-breakers to clinch the win.

This was after Auger-Aliassime eased to a 6-3, 6-2 victory over the top seeded Holger Rune in the semifinals while Hurkacz was stretched to the third set tie-breaker in his semis.

In the previous year in 2022, Auger-Aliassime had clinched the title by beating Rune in the final.
