Metro

Note that you will face a fair bit of crowd at the end of day; so you might want to walk a bit farther to the Michel-Anger Molitor station, which is less crowded than others.

The Eiffel Tower is about four kilometers away from the stadium. The recommended option is to take the bus from the Eiffel Tower to Javel and then take the subway from Javel-André-Citroën to Porte d’Auteuil.
If you do not mind a bit of leisurely walk, you can catch a bus on the Line 32- Le Notre station to La Tourelle. From La Tourelle, Roland Garros is a 10 minute walk.
You can also take a direct train from lena to Exelmans, which runs every five minutes every day.
The Stadium and Entry
Now that you know how to get to Roland Garros, it is time to make sure you have all the timings correct and also all the required items for you to gain entry. You are required to pass through one of three Mandatory Checkpoints to enter the arena and hence the stadium entrances. There is no direct access to the stadium entrances.
The gates of the stadium are opened at 10 am daily. If you plan on being present from the very first match of the day, it is better if you arrive early and wait for a bit.
The crowds will start gathering as you get closer to the opening time. Once you are inside, you quickly realise the place is huge. It can be quite confusing to navigate your way through the arena. To avoid any delays, you can simply download the Roland Garros app on Play Store and App Store, which will help you find your way around.
But before you leave for the stadium, you need to check and make sure you have all the necessary documents on your person.
- Valid Passport as ID (note that UK drivers’ licences are not accepted)
- The tickets with all the correct names printed on them (or a virtual copy on the Spectator app)
Also keep in mind that although bags are allowed, you cannot carry big backpacks, selfie sticks and other metal containers and items, or even strollers inside.
