2025 United Cup Format & Schedule
First things first and here’s how the schedule for the 2025 United Cup looks. Unlike the other ATP and WTA competitions which kick-start from Monday, December 30, the 2025 edition of United Cup will begin on Friday, December 27 and will go on till January 5 in the new year.
In 2025, this competition will be hosted in Perth and Sydney.
Format
The format of this competition remains unchanged with the 18 teams divided into six groups of three apiece. Three of these groups will be hosted in Sydney and the other three will feature in Perth.
Each of these teams will face off against the other two in their group and at the end of this round-robin phase in which each team has played two ties, the country which ends at the top of the group will qualify for the quarterfinals.
Joining these six top teams will be two other second-placed sides – making it a total of eight. These two will be the best second-placed teams, one featuring in each of the two cities.
