Jiri Lehecka v Cameron Norrie Head to Head
There have been three matches played between these two players with Norrie having won two of them. He grabbed his wins at the 2021 Davis Cup and the 2023 Auckland Open while Lehecka clinched one at the Australian Open in 2023.
Lehecka Hoping to Shrug off Dubai Loss
After having had the kind of start that Jiri Lehecka has had this season, you would be quite surprised to go down in the ATP Dubai the manner in which he did.
Taking on Ugo Humbert in the first round of that tournament, Lehecka managed to win just three games in his opening drubbing.
It must have been a case of exhaustion from having played 16 matches in the season till that point, of which Lehecka had won 13.
That included a title victory in Brisbane and a fourth round appearance at the Australian Open before he made the semifinal in Doha. Only four days later he was playing in Dubai again where he lost that match.
Still, a quarterfinalist here last year, Lehecka will now look to rebuild the strong start he has had to the season.

Norrie in a Facile Win over Nardi
Cameron Norrie was expected to win his opener against Luca Nardi but not too many would have expected him to coast to this kind of a win.
In a match that lasted a mere 65 minutes, Norrie availed of four of the 10 break-point opportunities he had in the match and saved the one he faced to win 6-0, 6-3.
This win would be a bit of a relief for Norrie who was defending points from having made the third round here last year but with not a lot of great results this season.
Having made the quarterfinals in Hong Kong and Delray Beach, Norrie had suffered reverses in the first round in Auckland, Australian Open and the Mexican Open as well.
Norrie will now have look to carry that confidence into a match where his opponent is ranked over 50 spots above him.
Lehecka v Norrie Predictions
Lehecka starts off a 9/20 favourite here but surely Norrie will get his chances. The Czech player should still win but we could see a third set here.
Lehecka v Norrie Tips
- Three sets in the match: 6/5
