Andrey Rublev v Matteo Arnaldi Head to Head
There have been three previous meetings between these two players and Rublev leads 2-1.
Rublev won their 2023 Vienna Open clash before Arnaldi levelled things out in 2024 at the French Open in a straight-set win in the third round. This was followed by Rublev winning at the Canadian Open last year.

Arnaldi Edges Out Kovacevic
It took Matteo Arnaldi over two and a half hours before he could celebrate his second successive entry into the second round of the Indian Wells Masters.
Arnaldi was pushed hard by Aleksandar Kovacevic before he came through 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 in a match that could have gone either way at 4-4 in the final set.
It was at that point that Arnaldi broke serve but even as he served for the match, he squandered away four match-points, then was forced to save three break-points before clinching the victory off his fifth.
It has been a steady season for Arnaldi who has been fast gaining ground on his ranking and is five spots away from his career-best.
