Rather bizarrely, Andreeva lost her serve two more times at the start of the second set to fall 0-4 behind this time. But equally strangely, she won the next six games in a row to end the match and make it to the third round where she faces her WTA Dubai final opponent.

Tauson Stretched by Osorio
Camila Osorio had beaten Naomi Osaka in the first round and had some confidence coming into this match against Clara Tauson.
Still, Tauson, who had an opening round bye, has had a season to remember and has also climbed up to 21st in the world – her career-best ranking. This has been thanks in part to her title win in Auckland and her finals appearance in Dubai two weeks ago
