Maria Overcomes Starodubtseva
Yulia Starodubtseva was the 3/5 favourite going into her first round match against Tatjana Maria and at one stage it looked like the match was going to the script.
Maria had lost the first set 2-6 and had been struggling with her serve, losing both her opening two service games.
