Alejandro Tabilo v Chun-Hsin Tseng Head to Head
Tabilo and Tseng will be facing off for the first time in their careers.
Tabilo on a Five-Match Losing Streak
When Alejandro Tabilo made the second round of the Paris Masters late last year, he wouldn’t have expected that the opening win he had registered there would be his last for a while.
Because it’s been nearly two and a half months since then and Tabilo hasn’t won a match so far.
Since getting knocked out of Paris in the second round, Tabilo has lost to Benjamin Bonzi in Brisbane, Nishesh Basavareddy in Auckland and Roberto Carballes Baena at the Australian Open – all in the first round.
He finally shifted over to the clay courts of the Argentina Open last week where he had a first round bye but in the second round he fell to Laslo Djere in a three-set thriller.

Tseng Comes Through the Qualifiers
Chun-Hsin Tseng has had a career-best ranking of 83rd on the ATP charts but has gone off the rails a little since then.
He is now 125th in the world and is coming into this tournament without a main draw win under his belt at this level since he won his opener at the Umag Open in July last year.
This year, Tseng tried to make it through the qualifiers at Brisbane, Australian Open and Argentina Open but lost every single time and this will be his first appearance in the main draw of an ATP event for the season.
Tseng overcame Lucas Reis Da Silva Joao and Marco Trungelliti to enter the main draw but it took him three sets apiece in both those matches. Things are about to get a lot tougher with Tseng’s only hope being his opponent’s poor form.
Tabilo v Tseng Prediction
Both players are coming into this encounter with absolutely no form under their belt. Tabilo will hope to get going for the season and given his experience and pedigree, he is our pick to edge past Tseng.
