Zizou Bergs v Roberto Bautista Agut Head to Head
Bergs and Bautista-Agut haven’t faced off in a competitive match before this.
Bergs at Career-Best after Marseille Showing
Zizou Bergs made it to a maiden career final in an ATP event earlier this season when he came through as a qualifier to end a runner-up to Gael Monfils in Auckland.
And while he was knocked out of the Australian Open in the first round itself, Bergs came back strongly to prove that the Auckland showing was no flash in the pan.
He first won two singles matches at the Davis Cup and then in the Marseille Open last week, Bergs slid into the semifinals with some strong performances under his belt.
Bergs will come into his encounter with a career-best ranking of 58th in the world after having begun the season at 71.

Bautista Agut Yet to Win This Season
Things haven’t looked good for Roberto Bautista-Agut this season.
Once ranked ninth in the world and the winner of this tournament in 2022, Bautista-Agut brings a massive tennis pedigree with him to this tournament but with absolutely no form.
The 12-time ATP tournament winner has featured in three competitions this season and won nothing.
At the Adelaide International Bautista-Agut was sent packing in the opener by Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, then lost to Denis Shapovalov in the first round of the Australian Open before Pedro Martinez got the better of him in Rotterdam.
He now faces an in-form Bergs and could be facing another big challenge in turn.
Bergs v Bautista Agut Prediction
Bergs starts a favourite and at 8/11, he sounds like a good bet for a win given the kind of form that both players have shown this season.
Bergs v Bautista Agut Tips
