Zizou Bergs v Aziz Dougaz Head to Head
They have only played on the Futures circuit once before and that came in 2017. Dougaz had won that encounter on clay.
Bergs Starts off at Career-Best Here
Zizou Bergs had a solid 2024 season in which he improved from 129th to 71st on the ATP Rankings.
Less than two months into 2025, Bergs had already hit another career-best ranking of 56th and that has been down to his consistent performances all of this year.
It started at the Auckland Open where Bergs had kicked off as a qualifier and went on to make the final before losing to Gael Monfils.
While Bergs failed to make it past his opener at the Australian Open, Bergs came back strongly in Marseille where he entered the semifinals.
More recently, Bergs made the second round at Doha where he was done in by Daniil Medvedev.

Dougaz Hoping to Convert Lower Circuit Form Here
Aziz Dougaz has a handful of titles at the lower level but is yet to win a Challenger tournament. The Tunisian has struggled throughout his career to find a way to find mentors and coaches to guide him which has left him to create his own path in a lot of ways.
And while that’s quite creditable, Dougaz hasn’t won any matches at the highest level except in Davis Cup.
This year, Dougaz made his first ever main draw appearance at a Grand Slam, winning three qualifiers in a row against players who were all favourites going into that match.
He lost in the first round there, as he did in Doha last week where he went down to Fabian Marozsan in straight sets.
It might not get any easier for Dougaz but these opportunities will create some more chances for him to grow as a tennis player.
Bergs v Dougaz Prediction
Bergs shouldn’t have a lot of worries here with a straight-set win looking most likely here.
Bergs v Dougaz Tips
- Bergs to win in straight sets: 3/5
