Carlos Alcaraz leads the day’s play as the remaining 2025 Indian Wells Open fourth round matches will be played on Wednesday, March 12 with Aryna Sabalenka, Madison Keys and Taylor Fritz also in action.
Starting the day’s action at Stadium 1 will Cori Gauff who will face a challenging fourth round encounter against the in-form Belinda Bencic. This could be the women’s match to watch out given how well Bencic has played all year and how Gauff’s form hasn’t quite been as good as she would have liked.
Australian Open winner Madison Keys will then face Donna Vekic in their fourth round match at the same court before Taylor Fritz faces Jack Draper.
The Draper v Fritz match could turn out into a mouth-watering clash given the kind of form both have shown this year.
The day at this court will get rounded off with a match between the French Open and Wimbledon winner Carlos Alcaraz who will take on Grigor Dimitrov for a place in the quarterfinals.
This will be their sixth meeting and Alcaraz leads Dimitrov 3-2 so far. What needs to be seen is if Dimitrov can shrug off his fitness concerns including a finger injury that he seemed to be carrying in the previous match.
Over at Stadium 2, Americans Ben Shelton and Brandon Nakashima will go head to head for their fourth round match before Alex de Minaur takes on Francisco Cerundolo.
This will be the second time de Minaur and Cerundolo will be facing off in a match this season having earlier met at the Australian Open as well. De Minaur had been given a good fight in that encounter.
World number one Aryna Sabalenka should not have a lot of problems when she takes on British player and surprise entrant Sonay Kartal.
And then, in the last match of the day, Jasmine Paolini faces Liudmilla Samsonova. Paolini holds a slight edge in this one but Samsonova might not be a pushover here.
