Cameron Norrie v Learner Tien Head to Head
Norrie and Tien met each other in Hong Kong last month. It was a first round match that Norrie won in straight sets.
2022 Finalist Norrie Showing Some Spark
A finalist here in 2022, Cameron Norrie will hope to take some of those memories into this encounter he looks to continue working out turning his results around.
A former top-10 player, Norrie has fallen 74th in the world and despite having made a positive start to the year in Hong Kong he hasn’t done too much of note.
Till he got to Delray Beach two weeks ago that is.
There Norrie defeated Zachary Svajda and Arthur Rinderknech in straight sets to make the quarterfinals before putting up a fight against Alex Michelsen.
He might not have it too easy against a player who has had a bit of a breakthrough season but Norrie will look to build on what he did at Delray Beach.

Tien Comes Through the Qualifiers
Learner Tien surprised a few fans by reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open earlier this year having made it to the tournament as a qualifier.
He managed to shock Daniil Medvedev in the second round there but more vitally the manner in which he overcame adversity in that match that stood out.
Any low-ranked player might have capitulated after Medvedev levelled things out to two sets all but Tien came back to win the fifth.
Since then, the only tournament Tien has played in has been at the Delray Beach where he defeated Adam Walton in the first round and lost to Matteo Arnaldi in the second. He had no difficulties qualifying for this tournament as he overcame Federico Gomez and Dusan Lajovic in straight sets to get there.
Things might not be as easy now but he will know Norrie has shown vulnerabilities.
Norrie v Tien Prediction
While Norrie starts an 8/11 favourite, we believe this could go either way with Tien’s form giving enough indication of what he’s capable of against faltering players. He looks set to win a set.
