Dolehide Has Built Up Nicely Towards Indian Wells
Having begun the season ranked 78th in the world, Dolehide has continued to slowly progress towards breaking into the top 70 again.
She might have liked to feature in one or two more tournaments than she has so far this season but Dolehide did kick-start the year straightaway at the Australian Open. There she made the second round before losing in the first round in Singapore.
Since then, however, Dolehide looked to have found some rhythm to her proceedings.
At Cluj-Napoca, Dolehide defeated Daria Snigur to make the second round while overcoming Anastasia Zakharova and Varvara Gracheva in Austin.
She now has a solid chance of getting close to her best-ever showing at the Indian Wells Open which came last year when she made the third round here.
