WTA Adelaide International Betting Tips, Picks, Predictions & Odds for the 2026 Edition

Get all the free WTA Adelaide International betting tips, predictions and picks along with their latest odds for the 2026 edition of the tournament which will be held in the second week of the calendar year.

Held as a WTA 500 tournament, the WTA Adelaide International is played in the same week as its ATP counterpart and in the preceding one to the Australian Open.

Which is why not many of the top players are usually seen featuring in this competition but one look at who played in this tournament last year and one can understand its importance – especially for those who have been running a little short on form.

Played for the first time in 2020, the WTA Adelaide International has been held every year including in 2021 despite the existence of the pandemic that year. In fact the men’s version of this tournament was cancelled that year but the women’s draw was held.

Incidentally, the 2021 edition of the Adelaide International was hosted after the Australian Open.

In 2022 and 2023, two tournaments were held in Adelaide, which makes it seven editions of the WTA Adelaide International between 2020 and 2024.

What Happened in the 2025 Edition of the WTA Adelaide International?

Madison Keys continued with some solid form when she went on to clinch this edition of the Adelaide International after beating the top seeded and fellow American Jessica Pegula in the final of the tournament.

Keys had one of the toughest draws imaginable and yet came through, beating Beatriz Haddad Maia, Jelena Ostapenko, Daria Kasatkina and Liudmilla Samsonova in the first four rounds to make it to the final.

Pegula, on the other hand, had an opening round bye and then defeated Maria Sakkari, Ashlyn Krueger and Yulia Putintseva without too much trouble to enter the title-decider.

In winning the title, Keys had won her ninth tournament at this level having won the Strasbourg Open title in 2024 as her previous one.

What Happened in the 2024 Edition of the WTA Adelaide International?

Jelena Ostapenko cut through a draw that consisted of the likes of Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula and Marketa Vondrousova to grab the women’s singles title at the 2024 edition of the Adelaide International.

In the final, the Latvian number one overcame Daria Kasatkina of Russia, 6-3, 6-2 to win the title.

Seeded sixth in the tournament, Ostapenko had a tricky draw in the offing which needed her to beat Sorana Cirstea in the first round and Caroline Garcia in the second. She needed three sets in both those matches.

Ostapenko then overcame Marta Kostyuk in the quarterfinals before overpowering Ekaterina Alexandrova in the semis to enter the final. Kasatkina benefitted from back to back walkovers – Laura Siegemund in the quarterfinals and Jessica Pegula in the semis – before she fell to Ostapenko.
