All the men’s and women’s quarterfinals at the 2025 Indian Wells Open fourth round matches will be held on Thursday, March 13 as Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek and Carlos Alcaraz will be on court as they look to seal their spots in the last four.
Today’s action will kick-start at Stadium 1 with Iga Swiatek taking on Chinese player and Paris Olympics gold medalist Qinwen Zheng in their quarterfinals. Swiatek is aiming for her third title here and has been in the kind of touch that makes her a heavy favourite.
At the same time, there will be a Stadium 2 match for a place in the semifinal between Holger Rune and Tallon Griekspoor. In a lot of ways both are surprise quarterfinalists with Griekspoor being the only unseeded men’s player getting this far this time.
Stadium 1 action will continue with fifth seeded Daniil Medvedev facing Arthur Fils and the evening session there will begin with the world number one Aryna Sabalenka taking on Liudmilla Samsonova. Samsonova will hope to maintain her march towards the elusive Indian Wells Open title here.
The final match of the day at this court will see Carlos Alcaraz facing Francisco Cerundolo. This should be a fairly straightforward encounter for Alcaraz who is coming off his third successive straight-set win, having defeated Grigor Dimitrov 6-1, 6-1.
Over at Stadium 2, Mirra Andreeva will take on Elina Svitolina in the second match of the day and that will be followed by Australian Open winner Madison Keys facing Belinda Bencic in what could turn out to be a close encounter.
Andreeva has been in rampaging form having already routed Elena Rybakina last round and will start off with an advantage. On the other hand, the Keys v Bencic encounter could get into the final set with not much to choose between them given their respective form.
In the last encounter of the session local lad Ben Shelton will face Great Britain’s Jack Draper for a place in the final four. It’s a first-time meeting between players ranked 12th and 14th with the winner expected to come close to breaking into the top 10.
