What Happened in the 2025 Edition of the ATP Delray Beach?

In what turned out to be a gripping final, Miomir Kecmanovic overcame Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in three sets to lift his first ever ATP title in nearly five years.

Fokina had a couple of match-points in that encounter before falling to a loss.

Earlier in the tournament, Kecmanovic had overcome Borna Gojo in the first round, earned a walkover from Yoshihitp Nishioka and then surprised Americans Marcos Giron and Alex Michelsen to make the final.

Defending champion Taylor Fritz had a first round bye and defeated Yunchaokete Bu in the second before Fokina ended his run in the quarterfinals.

What Happened in the 2024 Edition of the ATP Delray Beach?

Taylor Fritz made it two titles in a row at the Delray Beach Open when he defeated fellow American Tommy Paul in the final of the 2024 edition to win the title.

In a final that failed to impress the neutral, Fritz proved to be too good for Paul, winning 6-2, 6-3 to clinch the  seventh title of his career. He would go on to win the Eastbourne International in the same year.

Having gone into the tournament as the top seed, Fritz received a first round bye before toppling all of his next four opponents in straight sets. This included victories against Nuno Borges, Rinky Hijikata and Marcos Giron before his title-deciding win.

Third seeded Paul had defeated Frances Tiafoe, the second seed, in the semifinals.
