What Can Saville Do to Win a Main Draw Match?
It was the 2024 Wimbledon and Daria Saville had just beaten Peyton Stearns in the first round there.
Marta Kostyuk would go on to edge her out in a rather close three-setter but little would Saville have known at that stage that she wouldn’t be winning another match in the main draw of a WTA tournament.
It’s been seven months since that Wimbledon win and Saville hasn’t gone past the first round at this level.
