Diana Shnaider v Tatiana Prozorova Head to Head
This will be the first meeting between Shaider and Prozorova.
Shnaider Unable to Reproduce the 2024 Form
Diana Shnaider broke into the top 20 of the rankings last year when she won a whopping four WTA titles including two in hardcourt competitions – at Hua Hin and Hong Kong.
Unfortunately for the Russian, she hasn’t been able to reproduce something similar come 2025.
By now last year, Shnaider had already won the Hua Hin Open and was gearing up towards a final at the Charleston Open in March.
This year, Shnaider has featured in five tournaments and won a total of five matches, with two first round exits already to boot.
She has still maintained her top-15 ranking coming into this but Shnaider will know she needs to start winning soon if she wants to retain her spot on the WTA Rankings.

Prozorova Hasn’t Lost a Match This Year
She is ranked 175th in the world and as a result of that Tatiana Prozorova has been forced to play on the lower circuits. With the kind of form that she is in, though, it might not be long before she becomes a regular fixture at the WTA level.
Prozorova started off her season in January in an ITF event in Delhi and went on to make the final where she defeated Panna Udvardy in three fighting sets.
A week later, she flew over to Pune for another event where Prozorova again made the final and edged past Leolia Jeanjean to make it her second ITF title for the year.
She then managed to get a chance to feature in the qualifiers here and has thwarted Oksana Selekhmeteva and Rebecca Marino for the loss of nine games alone to reach the main draw.
Can Prozorova put up a fight here?
Shnaider v Prozorova Prediction
Prozorova might not have the game to test Shnaider completely but we could see some of her form seep through to this one and that could lead to a three-setter.
Shnaider v Prozorova Tips
- Three sets in the match: 6/4
