Aleksandar Vukic v Tristan Boyer Head to Head
Vukic and Boyer have never faced off before this.
Vukic on a Four-Match Losing Streak on Tour
Before the start of this season, Aleksandar Vukic had never made past the second round of a Grand Slam tournament.
Which is why when he defeated Sebastian Korda on his way to the third round at the Australian Open, it would have been a bit of a momentous occasion for Vukic and should have been a huge confidence-booster.
Unfortunately for the Aussie player, things haven’t quite gone his way since then.
He lost that third round encounter to Jack Draper but then also added three more first round losses at Dallas, Delray Beach and Acapulco. Making matters worse was the fact that two of those defeats came at the hands of Yoshihito Nishioka and Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez, two players he would have been expected to defeat.

Boyer Gets a Wildcard
Having begun his tennis career in the early parts of 2023, Tristan Boyer had gone from being a player outside the top 1400 to being ranked inside the top 200 in September 2024.
Very soon he ended the year at 133rd Boyer then improved to 113th at the time of writing and he is one of the rightful winners of a wildcard entry into this tournament.
That improvement has come about thanks to his Grand Slam debut at the Australian Open where he qualified with three victories including one over Christopher Eubanks. Boyer then announced himself to the world with a first round win over Federico Coria before losing to Alex de Minaur in the second round.
Since then, Boyer has played at Dallas, Delray Beach and a Challenger event at San Diego and hasn’t won a main draw match. Can he turn things around here?
