Zizou Bergs v Ethan Quinn Head to Head
This will be the first meeting between Bergs and Quinn.
Bergs Consistent Following Auckland Showing
Zizou Bergs has never won an ATP title but came close to doing so at the start of the season this year. Starting out as a qualifier in Auckland, Bergs made the final before Gael Monfils ended his superb run.
And while Bergs lost in the first round at the Australian Open, he followed that up with a couple of singles wins at the Davis Cup and a semifinal appearance at the Marseille Open.
Bergs then featured in both, the ATP Doha and Dubai and made the second round there before losing to Daniil Medvedev and Luca Nardi respectively.
He will enter this tournament ranked 53rd in the world, his career-best ranking and with a debut here in the offing, it’s no surprise he could even break into the top 50 for the first time in his career with a good performance.

Quinn at His Career-Best
Having played just once before in Indian Wells and lost in the first round, Ethan Quinn enters this year’s tournament with a two-fold objective – to continue his climb up the rankings and to clinch his maiden victory here.
And Quinn has been jumping up the ATP Rankings chart in a hurry.
He had begun the season ranked outside the top 200 and just a little over two months into the year, he has climbed up to his career-best ranking of 137th.
Quinn was still forced to feature in the qualifiers here and defeated Tristan Schoolkate and Gabriel Diallo in successive rounds to clinch his place here.
Earlier this year, Quinn had made the final of the Canberra Challenger and won a main draw round in both, Delray Beach and Dallas.
Bergs v Quinn Predictions
We could see a bit of a thriller given how these two have gone through the season. A third set can be expected with Bergs coming through in the end.
