Elena Rybakina v Rebecca Sramkova Head to Head
While they have never faced off at this level, they did play in two matches before this in ITF tournaments and Sramkova had won them both.
Rybakina Eases Past Stearns
If there were any concerns about Elena Rybakina’s form heading into this tournament, those were wiped off by her opening performance here.
After getting a first round bye, Rybakina did not waste too much time in dispatching Peyton Stearns in the second round.
Rybakina was on court for a mere hour and 14 minutes in which she broke the 47th-ranked Stearns six times from the whopping 16 opportunities she got.
Of course the one aspect of her game that Rybakina might need to work on is her serve – she just got 51% of her first serves in and won just 38% of her second serves which also meant she dropped her serve three times in the encounter.

Sramkova Upsets Andreeva
Having knocked out Anhelina Kalinina in the first round, Rebecca Sramkova had gone into her second round match against the world number 15 Mirra Andreeva as a 13/4 rank outsider.
And when she lost her serve in the sixth game of the match and subsequently the first set as well, it looked like the writing was on the wall.
The comeback came in the second set in which Sramkova broke her opponent three times and while she lost her own serve twice as well, she was able to level things out.
In the decider, the two traded early breaks before Sramkova missed out on a chance to serve out the match at 5-4. In the very next game she broke Andreeva again before completing the win off her third match point in a little less than two and a half hours.
Can she show the same fight against Rybakina?
Rybakina v Sramkova Prediction
