Felix Auger-Aliassime v Quentin Halys Head to Head
Their only previous meeting came in the Marseille Open of 2024 and Auger-Aliassime had won that encounter in straight sets.
Auger-Aliassime Hoping to Have Recovered from Toe Issues
Felix Auger-Aliassime had had a great start to the 2025 season when he grabbed an early title in Adelaide in which he defeated Sebastian Korda and Tommy Paul en route.
And the Canadian soon added a second to his tally for the season in Montpellier where he went largely untested.
Which is why his campaign at the Rotterdam Open might have been one to watch given a potential of a battle with Carlos Alcaraz later in the tournament.
Unfortunately for Auger-Aliassime, he was forced to retire from his second round encounter against Andrea Vavassori because of a bothersome toe. He will enter this encounter hoping he has overcome his issues.

Halys with Just One Main Draw Win for the Season
Quentin Halys kick-started the season with an injury when he retired from his very first match of the year – a qualifier in Adelaide.
He then won his opener at the Australian Open only to lose in the second to Arthur Fils and since then hasn’t won another main draw encounter this year.
Halys was sent packing by Jesper de Jong at Montpellier and lost to Zhizhen Zhang in Marseille which meant he has been forced to play the qualifiers of this event. The good news is he has done well at it, defeating Mubarak Zayid and Stan Wawrinka on his way.
The trouble resumes now as Halys takes on a player in such rampaging form that it might need a miracle for Halys to have a chance.
Auger-Aliassime v Halys Prediction
Auger-Aliassime has come back quickly from his injury and that is good news to a large extent but he would hope he’s not rushing it. If fit, we back the Canadian to cruise in this one.
